Donna L. Wilson is a partner in the Los Angeles office of BuckleySandler LLP, where she leads the Firm’s West Coast litigation practice.

Ms. Wilson represents all forms of financial services providers, including banks, mortgage companies, national retailers, franchisors, telecommunications and media companies, in a variety of privacy and information security, fair credit and state unfair and deceptive trade practice matters. In addition, Ms. Wilson assists corporate and individual policyholders with respect to a wide range of insurance coverage issues, ranging from data security and privacy, directors and officers, and errors and omissions.  Ms. Wilson writes and lectures extensively on class action litigation, privacy and data breach issues, and insurance coverage. She is the the Co-Chair of the Practice and Business Development Subcommittee of the American Bar Association Section of Litigation Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee.

Prior to joining BuckleySandler, Ms. Wilson was the co-chair of the Consumer Financial Services group at Kelley Drye LLP, and a member of its Privacy and Data Security Group. Notably, while at her former firm, Ms. Wilson launched the highly successful blog "ConsumerFinancialServices."

Following law school, Ms. Wilson served as a law clerk to the Honorable David R. Thompson of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in San Diego, California, and to the Honorable Stanley S. Brotman of the United States District Court of New Jersey.

Ms. Wilson received her J.D. from the University of Virginia (Order of the Coif), where she was a member of the Managing and Editorial Boards of the Virginia Law Review. She received her B.A. from the George Washington University.
