Buckley Sandler Webcast: HMDA Rulemaking Update with Former CFPB Official Kathleen Ryan and Warren Traiger

Join Buckley Sandler attorneys Kathleen (Kitty) Ryan and Warren Traiger for a discussion designed to assist in-house legal and compliance staff in understanding and preparing for the upcoming, significant changes to compliance under the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA). The discussion will feature remarks from Kitty Ryan, who joined Buckley Sandler in January from the CFPB, where she served as the Deputy Assistant Director for the Office of Regulations, and had responsibility for overseeing the CFPB’s development and implementation of the new HMDA regulation. Before joining the CFPB, Kitty worked in-house at JPMorgan Chase and served at the Federal Reserve Board's Division of Consumer and Community Affairs, the Department of Education, and the Department of Justice's Civil Rights Division.

Kitty will be joined by Buckley Sandler senior counsel Warren Traiger, a nationally recognized expert on fair lending and Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) issues, whose research and analysis of HMDA data has been cited in publications of the Federal Reserve Banks of San Francisco, Boston, and Dallas, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and in testimony before the U.S. House Financial Services Committee. They will discuss the following topics:
