As anti-corruption enforcement activity continues at the heightened pace set over the past few years, one enforcement priority has never been clearer: individuals will be prosecuted. In the United States, enforcement officials have made their view very clear that the strongest deterrent effect is achieved by indicting and convicting the individuals they view as responsible for FCPA violations.
