Andrew L. Sandler of Buckley Sandler LLP, counsel to Navajo Nation, said the deal will help those who deserve it most.

“The $554 million obtained is the direct result of outstanding lawyering by the entire team,” Sandler said in a statement on Wednesday. “Most importantly, these funds will provide enormous benefits for the much-deserving Navajo people."
