Kathryn "Katy" Ryan Named Partner at Buckley Sandler LLP

WASHINGTON, DC (June 10, 2016) – Buckley Sandler LLP, a premier financial services, government enforcement, and litigation law firm, has promoted Kathryn “Katy” Ryan to its partnership, effective May 1, 2016.

Kathryn Ryan provides strategic and tactical advice to help financial services clients identify and secure nationwide federal and state approvals necessary to achieve operational goals. She represents the full spectrum of the financial services industry, including banks, mortgage originators and servicers, consumer and commercial lenders, payments companies and money transmitters, private equity firms, debt collection companies, and various related service providers. Ms. Ryan also actively counsels clients on compliance with the Federal Housing Administration’s forward and reverse mortgage lending programs. In addition, she maintains an active enforcement practice, representing clients in examinations and investigations by various agencies, including the CFPB, the DOJ, HUD, federal banking agencies and state regulatory agencies. She received her J.D. from Catholic University and her B.A. from the University of Virginia. Ms. Ryan is based in the firm’s Washington, DC office.
