Alex Dempsey is an Associate in the Washington, DC office of Buckley Sandler LLP. Mr. Dempsey represents financial services industry clients in a wide range of enforcement and litigation matters.
Mr. Dempsey received his J.D. from Georgetown University (cum laude). During law school, he represented indigent defendants in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia and in parole revocation hearings in front of the United States Parole Commission while working with Georgetown’s Criminal Defense and Prisoner Advocacy Clinic. Mr. Dempsey was also the Senior Submissions Editor for the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics and a teaching fellow for Legal Research and Writing. Mr. Dempsey received his B.S. from the University of Missouri – Rolla (summa cum laude).
