Washington, DC (November 18, 2015) – Buckley Sandler LLP, a leading national financial services and criminal and civil enforcement and complex litigation law firm, has received a perfect score of 100 percent on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2016 Corporate Equality Index (CEI). A national benchmarking survey, CEI reports on corporate policies and practices related to LGBT workplace equality. Buckley Sandler joins the ranks of 407 major U.S. businesses earning top marks this year.

“This recognition by the Human Rights Campaign coincides with our commitment to providing an inclusive, supportive workplace for all our employees and their families,” noted Chairman and Executive Partner, Andrew L. Sandler. “Our goal has always been to hire, retain, and promote the best and brightest attorneys and staff while providing a diverse, collaborative work experience that empowers everyone to provide first class service to our clients.”

Buckley Sandler’s policies, practices, and structures satisfied all of the CEI’s criteria results, receiving a 100 percent ranking and the designation as a Best Place to Work for LGBT Equality. “We are very proud of this perfect score on the CEI,” said Buckley Sandler Partner Valerie L. Hletko. “It reflects the firm’s commitment to recruit and retain the best lawyers from a diverse candidate pool, as well as the firm’s partnership with clients and colleagues throughout the industry to promote workplace equality.”
