Buckley Sandler LLP Once Again Earns Perfect Score in 2017 Corporate Equality Index

Washington, DC (December 6) – Buckley Sandler LLP has received a perfect score of 100 percent on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2017 Corporate Equality Index (CEI). The firm also had a perfect score in 2015, the first year it was invited to participate in this national benchmarking survey reporting on corporate policies and practices related to LGBT workplace equality. Buckley Sandler is one of only 517 major U.S. businesses earning top marks this year.

“Our approach of seeking to hire, retain, and promote the best and brightest attorneys and staff produces a diverse yet inclusive culture that inspires everyone to provide exemplary service for our clients,” noted Chairman and Executive Partner, Andrew L. Sandler. “We are proud that the Human Rights Campaign recognizes our commitment to creating a supportive workplace.”

Buckley Sandler’s policies, practices, and structures satisfied all of the CEI’s criteria results, receiving a 100 percent ranking and the designation as a “Best Place to Work for LGBT Equality.” The 2017 CEI evaluated LGBT-related policies and practices, including: non-discrimination workplace protections; domestic partner benefits; transgender-inclusive health care benefits; competency programs; and public engagement with the LGBT community.

Buckley Sandler continually receives recognition as a “top workplace” for attorneys and staff alike. For the past two years, the firm was named a Top Workplace by the Washington Post and a Vault Top 10 “Best Law Firm to Work For.”
