STAGE Network Webinar: The RMBS Working Group - Two Year Review and Potential Future Developments

This webinar will examined actions undertaken by the Residential Mortgage-Backed Securities (RMBS) Working Group during its first two years of operations and featured the views of two experienced counsel on possible future directions for the Working Group's investigations. 

The RMBS Working Group was set up in January of 2012 as part of the Financial Fraud Enforcement Task Force (FFETF). It is composed of representatives from several Federal agencies as well as state and local level partners, including the offices of several state Attorneys General. During its first two years the Group has participated in several high-profile lawsuits against mortgage securities offerors and it is likely they will continue to do so in the coming year.
